In today´s ever changing world, the concept of ´givers´ and ´takers´ has become outdated. IB defies prejudices by creating sustainable methods to fight poverty. I am excited to contribute to the success of these inspirational change agents and look forward to making this world a little more inclusive.
Katharina is engaged in iBAN´s activities in Africa and Asia. She supports the process for companies to scale up their IB models and strengthen their connections to impact investors.
Prior to working for the iBAN project, Katharina gained working experience with GIZ´s Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) in the capacity building programme to prepare experts and managers for their assignments abroad, working in the communications, monitoring and course management areas. Katharina has gained grassroots experience as a Development Agent with Peace Corps in Zambia, Africa. She conducted trainings on health, education and agroforestry, accompanied change process workshops and advised on grant possibilities and conditions.
Katharina holds a degree in European Studies from Maastricht University and is completing her Masters of Business Administration in Corporate Social Responsibility and Non-Governmental Organization Management from the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
