This report offers insights on women’s needs for financial management tools and the use of mobile financial services 'MFS' in Indonesia, Kenya, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea and Tanzania. It illustrates common barriers to adoption and identifies opportunities for MFS providers to overcome these barriers in order to grow the women’s segment for MFS and mobile phone services and increase the likelihood of commercial success for the savvy service provider.
