[UPDATED TIME] Upcoming Webinar with Making Cents International: Supporting Youth Entrepreneurship: What Works, Where, and Why?

3. Apr 2014

[UPDATED TIME] Today’s global youth population is the largest in history. 15 to 24-year olds make up one-quarter of the world’s working population but represent HALF the world’s unemployed. For many, self-employment is the only option. Many initiatives exist to promote youth entrepreneurship, but robust evidence of what works in which context is lacking.

Youth Business International (YBI), Restless Development and War Child, with funding from the UK Government’s Department for International Development, have responded to this challenge by creating the Youth Entrepreneurship Contexts Framework.

Join the Making Cents International Apply it! webinar on May 6, 2014 from 10:00am-11:00am EST to learn about the Framework, and how you can get involved in testing it. YBI Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Managers will walk us through their approach. You will also hear from Entreprendre En Banlieu (EEB), a member of YBI in France, on their experience of participating in the testing, and how they see it as useful in their work.
