The Agricultural Business Initiative (aBi) supports Uganda's agribusiness development in the private sector by providing financing and technical support. The aBi Trust supports Farmer Organisations, NGOs, small and medium-sized enterprises in interventions that promote agribusiness development. aBi Finance provides lines of credit, agribusiness loan guarantees and a construction guarantee fund to agricultural based small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Cordes Foundation is a family foundation focused on social entrepreneurship, impact investing and creating economic opportunities for women. In addition to financing, the foundation also provides technical support such as connecting social entrepreneurs to potential investors and other support actors; and organises events on social entrepreneurship and impact investing. It also runs a fellowship programme targeted at emerging social entrepreneurs.

DEG is a subsidiary of the KfW Group. Amongst other services, its International Financing division provides financial and non-financial solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises in developing and emerging-market countries as well as several business support services.

The Dutch Development Bank finances commercially viable businesses and projects in sectors including agriculture, energy, manufacturing and finance. FMO offers long-term financing in the form of loans, equity investments and guarantees to encourage sustainable growth and works closely with investees, providing capacity development to strengthen organisational skills and to integrate environmental, social and governance practices into the core business.

The Finance Trust Bank provides financial services for individuals, groups and businesses in Uganda with special products for women. The "Women’s choice loan products" include business, agriculture, health, housing purchase, home improvement and land purchase loans.

Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP) is a government agency providing financial and non-financial support to small, medium and micro enterprises and co-operatives. It's mandate is to focus on the region of Guateng. In case of financial support, it runs various programmes such as start-up finance, contract finance, franchise finance, and growth and expansion finance among others.

The Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) provides financing to scale-up agricultural and food security assistance. GAFSP's Private Sector Window is implemented and managed by International Finance Corporation (IFC) to provide financing aimed at increasing the commercial potential of small and medium-sized agri-businesses and farmers by connecting them with local, national, and global value chains.
