The African Agribusiness Incubation Network (AAIN) is a private sector entity in Accra, Ghana providing business development support along various agricultural value chains, including the provision of technical advisory services, funding, networking, business advisory, mentoring and other key support for development of incubators and incubatees.

Akazi Kanoze Access supports Rwandan youth with employability skills, capital, and support. The organisation provides programmes structured in work readiness, advanced entrepreneurship, accelerated learning programmes, early childhood development caregivers, small business and cooperative management.

AkiraChix is a not for profit organisation that runs a one-year technical training programme, targeting young women from Nairobi, Kenya. Each year, AkiraChix selects 30 Kenyan women to take part in an intensive course on programming, design and entrepreneurship, delivered by a team of trainers from the technology industry. Throughout the programme, students receive mentorship from leading women in the tech industry, who guide them toward becoming leaders in business and in their communities.

The Ampion Fellowship is an extensive 4-month incubation and skills training programme for high-potential entrepreneurs across all African regions. Individuals selected for the Fellowship receive subsidised work space, mentoring and access to investor networks, coupled with consulting and advisory services in order to further develop their start-up ideas.

Based at University of Nairobi, C4DLab is a research and development lab, which runs a start-up incubation hub for start-ups with a digital or computing element. Leveraging the University's community and network, C4DLab's incubation programme brings start-ups from idea stage to growth stage by providing necessary resources and services, including mentorship, desk space, internet, research, hardware materials and access to a network potential business partners or funders. In addition, C4DLab offers its start-ups access to a pool of high-quality, free talent from the student population at the University.

The Compete Caribbean challenge fund provides grants up to USD 500,000 to enterprises across Caribbean states. Specifically, the fund provides matching grant resources to firms and entrepreneurs, who want to finance innovative ventures, take risks to develop new products, implement new business models, and/or enter new markets.

<p>Connect to Grow is a matchmaking initiative, designed to create partnerships between Indian enterprises and enterprises across South Asia and Africa, with a focus on health and agri-food prospects. It is funded by the UK’s Department for International Development and provides technical assistance, partnership brokering, support in accessing finance and small travel grants.</p>

Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) Uganda conducts research and helps to promote and improve policy, laws and regulation that shape the financial sector in Uganda. FSD Uganda provides grants and guarantees to financial service providers, mobile network operators, financial technology companies and non-bank financial service organisations working on technology driven financial services, products or delivery channels.

The Financial Sector Deepening Trust (FSDT) provides loans, guarantees and grants to financial service providers. FSDT seeks to facilitate financial services focussing on agricultural and rural finance, digital finance, small and medium-sized enterprise finance and insurance.
