The Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund (AEFC) provides catalytic funding in the form of repayable and non-repayable grants to businesses in the agriculture and energy sectors. The amount of funding awarded to a single business is between USD 15,000 and USD 1.5 million. Once grantees have completed AECF funded projects, AECF continues providing technical support to enable them to identify sources of commercial capital.
