Advance Consulting is an international business consulting company specialized in the acquisition of (repayable) grants, concessional loans and equity finance for companies investing in emerging economies. Over the past 20 years we have successfully developed business plans and sourced concessional funding for our clients in more than 40 countries. To date Advance Consulting successfully supported over 400 companies to attract funding. Annually we raise between EUR 40 and EUR 80 million for our clients and impact projects globally. The Africa Management Services Company (AMSCO) tackles the scarcity of human capital in Africa by providing human capital solutions to African industries. It works with a wide variety of clients, ranging from private and public investors, small and medium enterprises and large companies through to industry associations and governmental organisations with a vision to grow African businesses, assisting them to become globally competitive, profitable and sustainable. AMSCO grew out of the African Training and Management Services Project (ATMS), a joint initiative of International Finance Corporation (IFC), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and African Development Bank (AfDB).

<p>The Artha Venture Challenge supports early stage social entrepreneurs in India who are given the opportunity to pitch for up to INR 6 million of funding if matched with the equivalent or more in co-investment. Artha may either lead or simply match any transaction. In addition, the selected enterprises get access to business support, networks and mentoring. The challenge also involves Villgro which provides the incubation support, mentoring and networking support.</p>

ADB supports private sector development with direct financial assistance by funding and supporting private enterprises, financial institutions, and private equity funds, as well as by mobilizing international capital for private companies.</p>

<p>The Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries (BIO) offers financing solutions for private sector projects and supports microfinance institutions, commercial banks, non-bank financial institutions, and investment companies and funds. Through its MSME Support Fund, BIO provides grants to co-finance feasibility studies and technical assistance programmes.</p>

CEWAS is a non-profit association specialised in improving business practices in water and sanitation through training and awareness-raising. Its "start-up" programme helps to launch new businesses and NGOs through thematic lectures, workshops and one-to-one coaching sessions.

When our journey began in 2015, we focused on providing direct access to electricity to households and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Sub-Saharan Africa.
