In 2008, the AFE (Association of Family and Business Foundations of Colombia) was born from the work of a group of foundations with the commitment to Colombian society to advance in a joint effort to find collective solutions to inequality and exclusion. AFE connects, strengthens, makes visible and protects the work of this type of foundations, guided by good transparency and management practices.

Afribiz Foundation runs events and acceleration programmes for start-ups. It offers one-day workshops focused on various stages of entrepreneurship, online bootcamps, with local cohort support, and programmes that aim to move start-ups from early to growth stage.

We believe in equal access to public services, reliable infrastructure and a safer environment for everyone. We are convinced that this will happen faster if governments and non-governmental organisations become more effective, accountable and collaborative.

Argidius promotes the growth of small and medium sized enterprises (SME) in order to improve the lives of the poor through increased income generation. It offers a number of services including helping growing SMEs to be investment ready and gain access to finance, and providing tailored capacity development services such as incubation, acceleration, training, coaching, mentoring and networking

<p>The Ashden Awards recognise and award the most promising energy enterprises that are contributing to a low-carbon future. It also mentors and provides customised business development support to all awardees. To be eligible for an award, organisations must have an innovation that has been proven on the market for atleast a year. Awards can be given for a specific renewable energy or energy efficiency programme, enterprise or building, or for a specific product or service.</p>

The BoP Innovation Center is an independent foundation aiming to develop commercially and socially viable business models and activities by providing assistance in areas of marketing and distribution, inclusive innovations and inclusive business empowerment.

The Canopus Foundation promotes social investment, and provides business development assistance for social entrepreneurs in developing countries working in the field of clean energy technologies. The support provided ranges from direct financial contributions to conducting marketing research and management consulting.

The Central Square Foundation is a grant-making organisation and policy think tank focused on improving school education in India. The foundation offers grants to social entrepreneurs, provides research and innovation sharing that aims to influence public policy.
