This report establishes an inclusive business ecosystem framework that encompasses four functions: implementation support, making investment, providing information and creating incentives - it illustrates how these aspects support inclusive businesses and discusses the role that actors including Government, Civil Society and Development Partners can play. The report focuses on sub-Saharan Africa and draws on experiences of 43 enterprises across 16 countries in the region; exploring the inclusive business challenges, the existing support structures and the opportunities to improve the support landscape.
