This case study reviews the Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel (Mt. Plaisir), an eco-tourist retreat on the North Coast of Trinidad. It discusses the background of the organisation, and the challenges and opportunities encountered in seeking to establish a viable business while simultaneously developing, supporting and training a community to become self-sufficient and sustainable.
