This study provides findings from an econometric analysis on the impact of mobile telephony in India, which aimed to inform policy-making in the sector. It looks at the impact of mobiles on agricultural productivity; discusses a survey conducted on the usage of mobile in poor urban areas; as well as the impact of mobiles in the SME sector.
