The case study introduces the business model of the 1990 founded South African enterprise Food and Trees for Africa (FTFA) which tackles food insecurity, unemployment, environmental degradation and climate change by creating greenbelts of community gardens and trees and by empowering emerging organic farmers. The case study analyses the economic, social and environmental impact of FTFA.
