Exploring the links between international business and poverty reduction: The Coca-Cola/SABMiller value chain impacts in Zambia and El Salvador
The report adopts the 'poverty footprint' methodology created by Oxfam which looks across value chains to provide a comprehensive understanding of how companies are impacting sustainable livelihoods, health and well-being, diversity and gender, empowerment, and security and stability, and all key dimensions of poverty. It details the positive impacts that Coca Cola and SABMiller are having in Zambia and El Salvador which includes job creation, the development of entrepreneurial skills and technical training.
