Objective: To provide micro- and small enterprises with sustainable funding, helping them to grow and generate additional income; to create employment; to assist low-income families in improving their housing conditions.

Activities: EFSE operates through partner lending institutions (commercial banks, MFI, non-bank financial institutions, and leasing companies) in Southeast Europe & European Neighbourhood Region. These partners on-lend the funds to micro and small enterprises and to low-income households in a sustainable manner. The EFSE works cross-sectorally to transform and improve the financial infrastructure.
