Sustainable farming practices that address environmental, social and economic issues can help to solve many of the problems associated with cocoa farming.

We support the Rainforest Alliance (RA), which is an international, non-profit, conservation organisation. RA certifies cocoa according to the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) standards. These standards cover ecosystem conservation, worker rights (including the prohibition of child labour), safety, and wildlife protection. They also cover water and soil conservation, agrochemical reduction, decent housing, legal wages and contracts for workers.
