Waste Ventures India is a waste management social enterprise working with informal waste pickers and bulk waste generators to create inclusive, financially viable and environmentally sustainable waste management models. Simply put, they help you divert waste from the landfill to green end-points.
Waste Ventures India places waste pickers at the front and centre of their mission. Through a dedicated and consistent collection of low-value plastics from Waste pickers. WV partners with non-profit organizations to design and implement waste management projects ranging from art installations made of waste to enter zero waste centres, from workshops for low-income children to sensitization campaigns on health and sanitation for waste picker women.
Waste Ventures helps to improve the income of the waste pickers by almost 20% and divert waste that otherwise would have been landfilled or burnt. Social impact + environment impact - it’s a Win-Win for all.
