This case study showcases SEED 2013 award winner Muthi Futhi, a community business which cultivates and processes indigenous medicinal plants for sale both as primary raw materials in bulk, and in the form of finished herbal products. The study outlines the local development challenges and the highlighted solution; the development impact and reach; and the success factors and challenges in building the inclusive eco-enterprise.
