This report analyses the effectiveness of development programmes in addressing the challenges faced by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the agriculture sector in Asia and examines whether these interventions would be relevant to Social Enterprises (SEs). It provides insights to inform the decision making of development programmes that aim to catalyse the growth of SEs in agriculture and attract impact investment capital to fuel the growth of the food and agriculture sector in Asia.
