This case study focuses on IDE Nepal, the nepalese branch of the international development organisation International Development Enterprise (IDE) that aims at creating income opportunities for poor rural households in developing countries. IDE Nepal provides farmers with suitable technology for irrigation and water management and knowledge inputs for managing the farming process, and sets up farmer communities through which other assistance is offered.
