This case study highlights Huatai Paper Company's 'Forest-Pulp-Paper Integration' strategy which substitutes wood-pulp for straw-pulp by mobilising farmers to plant fast growing trees, as well as accelerate local economic development, improve the natural environment and increase farmers’ income.
