This short paper discusses the project Promotion of Social and Environmental Standards (PSES) in the Industry, implemented by GIZ. The project was developed by the Bangladesh Ministry of Commerce and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in order to help garment factories implement the new Labour Act.
