This report focuses on sub-Saharan Africa and assesses the opportunities and challenges relating to agricultural carbon markets, and the size and scope of the carbon market for Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA). It examines the existence of carbon methodologies to support adoption of CSA in sub-Saharan Africa, and it reviews the attractiveness of different carbon market standards.
