This article presents an Impact Assessment Framework for ventures at the base of the pyramid. It shows through ventures VisionSpring and Pioneer Hi-Bred International, how this framework makes it possible to measure the efficacy of ventures in affecting the well-being of its constituencies in three dimensions: their economic situation, their capabilities, and their relationships.
