Industrialisation in Africa has promised to bring jobs, alleviate poverty and catalyse economic growth across the continent. How can Africa leverage the digital transformation of Industry 4.0 to enable this growth? Long term investment in technology, innovation in manufacturing and skills development for youth will be critical in accelerating and scaling access to nutritious food, healthcare and affordable housing for all. By adopting Industry 4.0 technologies, Africa can address its greatest development challenges, including creating decent jobs.
