This case study explores the business model, development impacts and commercial results of mKRISHI, a technology platform designed for farmers in India that uses ICT to deliver a range of services to smallholder farmers. It reviews how the model enables farmers to improve both yields and margins and how the business model evolved to provide services for not only individual farmers but farmer groups including cooperatives and producer companies comprising smallholders.
