This report provides an in-depth analysis of the behaviours, economics, and business models of financially-sustainable enterprises that address the challenges of global poverty with successful market-based solutions. It describes seven successful business models and details the lessons learned on commercial viability, route to scale, and it concludes with recommendations on the role that commercial and impact investors, donors and philanthropic actors can play.
